Tired Of Health Catching You By Surprise?

I am Dr. Wesley, I have been practicing chiropractic for the last 4 years. My mission with this newsletter is to help educate and empower as many people as possible to help you reach your health and wellness goals through easy actionable steps. The main focus will be increasing mobility, cleaning up your diet, managing stress and just for fun debunking various health myths along the way. One thing I want to make very clear the advice you receive in this newsletter by no means should substitute what your health care provider is working on with you, rather I hope to empower you to take steps in the right direction to achieve health freedom.

Never Stop Moving

When it comes to living a long and healthy life there’s three main things that the oldest living people say it boils down to mobility, nutrition, and a sharp mind. Mobility is the bread and butter of what I work on day in and day out. If you ask most people how their mobility is you'll hear all sorts of things from “Great I’m super flexible!” to “Oh I’ve never been able to touch my toes!” but the main thing here is HOW do you actually know if you are moving well or not? Well I’m here to help you and over the next few weeks I hope to give you to tools to start moving better!

You Are What You Eat

“My favorite food is broccoli” said no one ever, diet is the second thing I get asked about all the time. Most people are under the impression to eat healthy you got to starve yourself, or spend tons of money on 100% organic foods and while that’s great, I want to make this even easier for you. Nutritional density in food matters the most! Nutrition has a hand on everything inside your body after all, you are what you eat! So why not give your body better food to run on? Here I will provide you with anything from recipes to specific diet break downs to reach those specific goals like decreasing inflammation.

Fact or Fiction?

Can pickle juice actually help with muscle cramps, or does putting potatoes in your socks really help get rid of a cold? I want to explore which of these home remedies are actually backed by science or not? When it comes to pickle juice the jury is out some athletes swear by it even backed by some some research showing it may decrease cramp duration up to 45%. However most research shows not much of an impact, the good news is if you like it and it helps, and your not drinking whole pickle jars each night it is safe. Otherwise you can skip the nightly pickle juice shot. Potatoes in your socks on the other hand have no evidence to back them up.

As the weeks go by I hope to inspire and encourage as many people as possible to take some of the first steps to living a longer healthier life. Thank you for trusting me to help you start living the life you deserve!
